- Something I the back of my mind says that the phase shift in
- multiple transformers is going to draw a lot of power (or actually
- volt amps) if you connect them together. I also recall doorbell
- stuff being 12v when I was a kid.

- Just be careful when connecting these that you don't have a lot of
- current even with no load.

- I have a client who has a lot of external modems, and has them in a
- shelf with shelves close together. There's a heavy duty power strip
- up the back corner, and plugged into that is a standard strip
- attached to the back of each shelf. The problem with this is heat,
- which argues for a closed enclosure with fans, overtemp sensors,
- etc.
